League Play

A team can consist of 4 curlers or more, but only 4 curlers are allowed to play in a game.

For nights where there are 2 draws, games will start at 6:30 and 8:30.

It is recommended that in men's league a man substitute for a man, in ladies league a lady substitute for a lady, and in mixed league a man for a man and woman for a woman.  However, if necessary this can be waived.

Spares may play any position except Skip.  However, if this is not possible, confer with your opposition and if they are in agreement you may use the sub as Skip.

The league draw is created to ensure teams are given the same number of games.  At the end of regular draw, any format can be used to determine the winner of the League.  The League winner will be given a prize as determined by the DVCC Board.

Games shall consist of 8 ends.  If there are 2 draws in a evening, at 8:05 pm, finish the end you are playing and only one ore end is allowed.

If the Men's or Ladies league is not full, and a team of the opposite sex wishes to play in the league, this is allowed.

Bonspiels

Men's Bonspiel team shall consist of 4 males.
Ladies Bonspiel team shall consist of 4 females.
Mixed Bonspiel team shall consist of 2 males and 2 females.
